I just wanted to throw in my few cents and to say that I really enjoyed the tournament. I also want to thank my teammates Saurabh and Darren -- although there are challenges to playing with people you've never met before I enjoyed their company and felt like we were just right there off the radar screen of contention. This was my first time playing in the southeast and thus my first opportunity to get spanked by the likes of Raj D. and Kelly MacKenzie. It was certainly a worthwhile experience. The questions overall were quite good, but the repeats did get annoying, especially the Miltiades questions Kevin mentioned, which were followed in another round by a tossup on Alcibiades that sounded similar at the beginning. Also there was a question on the Chinese writer Gao in which the first clue was the work "Bus Stop," Darren won the buzzer race in our room to neg with Inge. As for the GT alums packet... I haven't looked it over closely, but I remember it only as being mildly annoying... maybe like Lee said they were answered so quickly I never knew they were so short. As for why it was in the tournament... well Matt, politics will get you every time -- would you like to run a tournament at Georgia Tech and reject a packet by Jim Dendy? Still I guess you can say Stephen should have pressed them for more revision. Anyway, overall it was a very well-run tournament and the only delays were caused by a buzzer arriving late and then not working. Also like Raj said the stats were almost immediate. Dargan
