The Swarthmore College Bowl Team is proud to announce it will host the eigth incarnation of SNEWT, its annual packet submission juniorbird on Saturday Nov. 8, as well as this year's TRASH Regionals, to be held on Sunday, Nov. 9. As usual, we will be providing both breakfast and lunch for all players and staff (for lunch, every team is given a pizza; there's not much food near campus). ELIGIBILITY: For TRASH: you must be a human being. For SNEWT: all members of your team must be undergraduates who are in either their first or second years of intercollegiate, non-CBI competition. In order to be eligible for the chamionship, all members must be enrolled in the same school PRICING: For simplicity's sake, the prices for both tournaments will be the same: First Team - $75 Second Team - $60 All other teams - $50 Buzzer - $10 off Each Game Official - $10 off Each Extra Pizza (remember, each team already gets one)- $10 each Travel Discount- $10 off for every 250 miles (by Mapquest.) If you attend both tournaments, you will recieve the travel discount once, off your SNEWT invoice. Cross-Tournament Game Official- $10 off for every member of either a TRASH or SNEWT team that moderates at the other tournament. Dual Tournament Discount: $10 off TRASH if a team from the same school plays in SNEWT. Teams that wish to be eligible for this discount must not be masters/bastard teams, since it is school-specific. Fine print, blah, blah, blah. Minimum: $40. We also offer a special $20 "newbie" price, which cannot be combined with any other offer. TRASH "newbie" teams must be composed entirely of players who have never competed in a TRASH event before. Since SNEWT draws lots of freshmen, (being a juniorbird), the "newbie" discount applies only to entire programs which are new to the (non-CBI) circuit. Packet info for SNEWT coming in the next message. -Chris White, President, Swarthmore College Bowl
