TOSSUPS -- At Tennessee, Carol Guthrie would do something called "Final Four." Put eight players on the buzzer. Read tossups only, counting individual stats. First two players to get four tossups correct advance; three negs and you're out. Once that group has finished, put eight more on the buzzer and repeat. In this way, in a remarkably short time, you can cycle through 32 players and have 8 finalists. BONI -- We do this at UTC when we have 11+ players on hand. In the same room, divide people up into groups of 3 or 4, give them a sheet with blanks, read bonuses, and let each team mumble among themselves and record the answer. Then go over the answers with everyone afterwards. ****************************************************************** Charlie Steinhice "Come, come!
