Seven teams played here today for the Midwest TRASH Regional Championship. After a preliminary round-robin, Illinois was undefeated, and they joined We'd Like to Be the Team for Guys With Confederate Flags on Their Pickup Trucks (Wichita State A), Human Fund ("Money for People"), and Beat Back the Wolves! (WU house team) in the top playoff bracket. In the third and last playoff round, Confederate Flags beat Illinois 230-185 to pull within one game in the standings and force a championship game. In said game, Confederate Flags won 280-95 to claim the championship. Individual accolades went to the top five players, including Alex Houan of Human Fund, the leading scorer at 55/gm and winner of a battery-powered Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine truck, while The Marjin of Victory from Depauw won 4th place but took the negs title with 7.
