Here's the latest update for NAQT's Mid-Atlantic SCT, which will be held at Princeton University on Saturday, February 7. Based on e-mails I have recieved, the team list is currently: Bucknell: 1 D2 / (1 D2?) Cornell: 1 D1 / (1 D2?) Columbia: 1 D1 / 1 D2 (1 D2?) Delaware: 1 D1 / (1 D2?) Georgetown: 1 D2 / (1 D2?) Maryland 1 D1 / 1 D2 Penn: 2 D2 Penn State: 2 D2 Princeton: (1 D2?) Swarthmore: 1 D1 Virginia: 2 D1 / 1 D2 So at this point we have 7 D1 teams and 9 Teams confirmed. Teams in parentheses were possible, but not confirmed, entries, and thus not counted yet, so that leaves 6 more teams in the realm of possiblity. We definitely have enough space to accomodate more teams, so keep that in mind. Tournament fees are: Base fee: $120 Base fee for second teams: $100 Base fee for third and subsequent teams: $90 Working Buzzers: -$10 per set (limit 2) Working Clocks: -$5 per clock (limit 2) Competent Moderator: -$20 (limit 1) Travel Discounts: -$20, but please contact me in advance and note that discounts will be awarded at my discretion. 300 miles of travel (as stated on MapQuest) is probably the minimum I'd be willing to consider. Minimum fee: $60/team In addition, tournament packets will be available for purchase after the tournament for $25. That's basically it as for formalities go. Any questions about getting to Princeton or finding a place to stay can be answered by going to http://www.princeton.edu/Siteware/WeatherTravel.shtml or sending me an e-mail. Contact me at cfrankel (at) princeton.edu if you have any questions or need to make new registrations or change existing ones. Thanks, and see you all at the Mid-Atlantic SCT. -Chris Frankel -Princeton College Bowl
