In late November 2003 I started a thread with many of
the same questions that you have. To save other
people from repeating their advice, look at the
messages entitled "Advice: School/Quizbowl Team
relations" starting at message 13465 and continuing to
about message 13518. A search of the message archive
should bring it up also.
