Congratulations to all teams that won berths to the ICT this year, and good luck to strong finishing schools in receiving wild-card berths. Hopefully the Southwest will send a large contingent to St. Louis this year. My abundant gratitude to guest staffers Dave Murphy, Stephen Gill, Frank Thomas, Chad Kubicek, Bradi Roberts, and Wes Wehrman, as well as alumnus Neil Jones and current members and associates of Arkansas Quiz Bowl, for moderating and scorekeeping during this eventful and enjoyable day. A special thanks to Chris Romero, who, among other things, kept stats on his laptop due to a building network malfunction; managed logistics between rounds, keeping the tourney pace smooth; and assisted on protest resolutions. I only had to call NAQT once throughout the day. :-) Most importantly, I would like to thank all of the teams that participated today, especially the new teams, and I wish all of you the best of luck in the future. I hope you all had as much fun playing as I did hosting! Sincerely, Joshua Hill Arkansas Quiz Bowl Panthera tigris altaica
