Aztlán Cup Results

Aztlán Cup was held today at UCLA. After a fifteen team round
robin, 
Minions of the Mystical Drug Orb (Seth Teitler, Brendan Shapiro, Ray 
Luo) emerged with an undefeated record, eking out a five point 
victory against second place Caltech B (Jordan Boyd-Graber, Maribeth 
Mason, Adam, Jim) in the final round. The Minions capped off their 
victory with a ceremonial drink from the Aztlán Cup, and trophies 
were awarded to the following individuals: Eric Smith (top scorer), 
Jordan (neg leader), and Andrew Gonzalez (La Raza Award for Chicano 
Achievement in the Anglo Game of Quizbowl). Various Latter Day 
Saints paraphernalia were handed out to top teams and players.
