This is a preliminary announcement: The UTC Academic Trivia
Association plans to host an open academic tournament on Saturday,
June 12, 2004. This will be a mirror of the NAQT High School
National Championship Tournament, on a one-week delayed basis.
To avoid any conflict with NAQT's championship, the tournament will
not be open to high school teams that qualified for the NAQT HS NCT
but chose not to attend. To avoid the rest of us getting crushed, it
will also not be open to high school teams that DID go to Houston, or
anyone who officiated there. Other than that, it's open to all
(paying) teams.
We will almost certainly pair this tournament with a trash tournament
on Sunday, June 13. Further details will follow.
