     Newland -- here's a link to the Maize Pages directory of teams:
http://www.umich.edu/~uac/mac/maize/directory.html .  Hopefully your
school in Boston has a qb team which is listed there.  Most qb teams
have practices and attend a variety of tournaments, so try contacting
them to find out when they're holding practices.  I suspect that
collegiate quizbowl may be quite different from the SkillsUSA version
of it, just so you know in advance.

P.S. If your school doesn't have a quizbowl team listed, you could
also try contacting other Boston schools to see if you can check out
one of their practices -- many qb teams hold open practices.
