The other day, I got to thinking how most teams probably don't have the opportunity to play questions in other parts of the country, due to travel restrictions. So, with the help of Craig Barker and www.collegequizbowl.org, I'd like to propose an idea. Listed below are more than 90 tournaments advertised on the Yahoo board since the beginning of 2002 (I combed about 6000 posts to find them). Craig is going to post this list on the website, in the hopes that the teams that hosted these events will supply one of three things: either (A) an e-mail address where people who'd like to trade for the questions can reach someone from the host school, (B) a website address where the tournament's questions are already posted or (C) a notice that the tournament never happened or the questions have been destroyed forever. NOTE: Many of the tournaments listed below have several iterations. For the purposes of this web page, I'd like tournaments held from 2002 to the present, in hopes that they might be as well-written and relevant to today's players as possible. If you know the whereabouts of several years worth of a tournament like Penn Bowl or Cardinal Classic, please indicate in your e-mail ALL that you can share. PLEASE, if you were involved in any way with any of the tournaments listed below, this is a good opportunity to help the community as a whole and help your team get practice questions.
