Hi everyone, So some more teams have expressed interest, and no one has sent me any e-mails panicked and confused about what's going on. So it seems we're headed towards another successful, albeit slightly smaller, Penn Bowl. After talking it over with Samer, we think the best number to tentatively cap the field at is 36. This allows for good brackets, and is a better number than 40 and 44. As you can see, the number is pretty good now too because we have in the range of 27-34 teams confirmed. Of course if a lot more people sign up in the coming weeks, I'll post the updated info. Also, I'm opening up the field to schools' third and fourth teams. So if your team was listed as 2-3 or 2-4, please e-mail me (nwalters at sas dot upenn dot edu) to let me know what the number will be. Williams, you're all set at 3 teams. Also, to schools that have traditionally attended Penn Bowl like Princeton, Michigan and Chicago, could somebody from your teams please e-mail me to let me know if you're coming? I don't want to make any assumptions because I haven't heard from you guys either way. Please find the latest updated list of what schools are coming and how many teams they're sending. Also, remember that if you have any packet related questions, you should send them to Samer (samer dot ismail at gmail dot com) and also send your packets to that address. E-mail me with any other tournament or logistical questions. --Nick Walters, PADT BC: 2 Bowling Green: 1-2 Bucknell: 1-2 Brandeis: 2 Delaware: 1 Emory: 1-2 Florida: 2 Maryland: 2 MIT: 2 Penn State: 2 Rutgers-Newark: 1 Swarthmore: 2 UL Lafayette: 1-2 Vanderbilt: 1 Virginia: 1-2 Williams: 3 Yale: 2-4
