ACT Winter Open at UIUC

The UIUC Academic Buzzer Team hereby announces that it will host the
ATC Winter "Open" for the Midwest region on January 29th, 2005 on the
campus of the University of Illinois in "lovely" Champaign-Urbana,
Illinois. ATC Winter Open is a packet submission tournament that aims
to have a highly accessible set of questions. All teams wishing to
play must write a packet; https://webspace.utexas.edu/egk55/www/
contains the guidelines by which packets must be written. Please do
get your packets written as soon as you can and remember to submit
your packet to Eric Kwartler at ekwartler(at)gmail.com (rather than to
myself, for example.)

The fee schedule for UIUC's ATC Winter Open is as follows:

Base fee: $70
Packet submitted by December 24th: - $40
Packet submitted by January 1st: - $20
Packet submitted by January 8th: No Penalty
Packet submitted by January 15th: + $20
Packet submitted by January 22nd: + $40
Buzzer System Brought: - $5 (limit one per team registered)
Additional Teams: - $10 per team beyond the first
Moderator discount: - $20 per competent game official
Travel discounts will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please

Minimum fee: $30
