Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties Dr. Wade Carpenter of Berry University has been unable to post his ATC announcement. Here, in his stead, I am pleased to announce the Southeast incarnation of the ATC Winter Open. It is (as Dr. Carpenter intended) as follows: The Southeast ATC Winter Open will be held on January 29th, 2005 at Berry College in Rome, GA. ATC Winter Open is a packet-submission tournament, and all teams that wish to play must write a packet according to the guidelines set forth in Eric's previous announcement (see https://webspace.utexas.edu/egk55/www/ ). A slight change has been made to the eligibility requirements. A team of non- affiliated players may attend the tournament on a strictly exhibition basis. As previously announced, the fees and packet deadlines for the ATC Winter Open will be as follows: Base fee: $70 Packet submitted by December 24th: - $40 Packet submitted by January 1st: - $20 Packet submitted by January 8th: No Penalty Packet submitted by January 15th: + $20 Packet submitted by January 22nd: + $40 In addition, we will offer the following other assorted discounts: -$05 per 200 miles traveled -$05 per working buzzer -$10 off the base for each additional team The minimum fee for each team is 30 dollars.
