Bulldogs Over Broadway Mirror at the University of Tulsa

Greetings, everyone! I am pleased to announce that the University of 
Tulsa Academic Bowl Team will be mirroring Bulldogs Over Broadway, 
Yale's annual packet-submission tournament. This tournament will be 
held on Saturday November 5th, although we would be willing to host 
it on October 29th, if there were enough interest in that date.

Fees and Discounts:
Base Fee: $100
Additional Teams: $80/each
Operational Buzzer System: -$10 (limit 2)
Volunteer Discount: -$10 (only if we use them)
Travel Discount: -$5/per 75 miles (max of -$25)
Minimum Fee: $60 (per team)

Moreover, although Yale's tournament is packet-submission, our mirror 
will not be. However, if you wish to write a packet, you will be 
entitled to all the packet discounts offered by Yale, without any of 
the penalties.

Packet Discounts:
Friday September 30th: -$25
Friday October 7th: -$15

Saturday October 15th is the no-penalty deadline, but if you would 
like to submit a packet after that date, then we will give you some 
kind of monetary discount. Furthermore, for packet guidelines, please 
consult message #15697.

The tournament will take place in Chapman Hall on the TU campus, with 
registration beginning at 8:30am, to be followed by an information 
session at 9:15am. We plan on starting matches no later than 9:30am. 
Maps and driving directions will be given upon registration, as well 
as hotel listings, if needed.

Prizes will be awarded to the top overall team and the top 
undergraduate team. Individual awards may also be given.

Upon registration, please indicate to me how many teams you will be 
bringing, as well as buzzer systems and volunteers, in addition to 
classification. The classifications will be: Graduate, Undergraduate, 
and Novice (i.e. Freshmen and Sophomores).

Lastly, if you would like to attend but are concerned about finances, 
please let me know, and we will work something out. Further 
information on this tournament will be sent in the coming weeks. To
