I take it it wasn't anyone good from Michigan's program, and if not, those were IS questions. Does it say anything if you beat some mediocre Michigan players on tu's on three line tus on "the moon" or "room"s? And, it was not as if we had a full team at sct anyway, it was me and a freshman. It wasn't a team with Andy (of last year's ICT,) or one of our other decent players. Not to mention that our two-person team had significantly better stats than Ottawa (other than powers per tu, but you have the luxury of waiting when you know your opponent generally won't know Massacio from Kelly Monaco.) Making blanket statements without the data behind them is idiotic. Whoopdee-doo dude, you got to beat random Michigan people, and hoorah for the team that beat two sleepless Americans with their astounding 11 PPB, thanks to their deep "glottal stop" and "tilde" knowledge (this is not even going into the fact that this final was played on a truncated packet with 90 seconds left on the clock at the end of regulation.) The whole damn thing should be statistical as far as I'm concerned, and I don't care if that means we don't get an invite, the status quo sucks. Also, naqt could always, like always at least make D1 open or something, like a certain other format that still manages to produce reasonable standings, etc. Anyway, who calls themselves "de great"?
