Trojan Wars IV Official Anouncement

The University of Southern California Quiz Bowl club is holding a 
high school tournament (let's call it Trojan Wars IV for now) on 
Saturday, December 2, 2006. It will be an official NAQT tournament, 
with timed 9-minute halves, and a minimum of 10 games for each team.

The pay schedule is as follows:
Base rate: $95
Second team: -$10
Third team: -$20
Buzzer: -$5
Timer: -$10
Minimum fee: $60

If you are interested in attending, please e-mail me at 
quizbowl_at_... and let me know how many teams, buzzers, and timers 
you are planning to bring. Payment at the tournament is fine; we 
take cash or checks made out to "USC Quiz Bowl."

Check-in will be at 9am in the lobby of Kaprelian Hall, along with 
breakfast foods (KAP on a campus map, which can be found at 
http://www.usc.edu/about/visit/upc/driving_directions/). Please be 
on time so we can get started on time (and therefore end on time, 
which should be around 6 pm). All the games will be in that building 
as well.

The nearest on-campus parking is Parking Structure A, off Vermont St 
on the west side of USC's campus. Alternatively, you can park in the 
neighborhood west of campus for free. We have scheduled the 
tournament to not fall on the same day as a USC home football game, 
so there should be ample parking available.
