Deep in the hood of Los Angeles... 
A war has erupted... 

USC Quizbowl is proud to announce our fourth annual packet submission 
tournament, Ghetto Warz IV: Straight Outta Compton Scattering, to be 
held at USC on April 28, 2007. 

Fee structure: 
First Team: $65 
Subsequent teams: -$10 
Buzzer discount: -$10 
Long-distance discount (over 150 miles via Mapquest): -$10 
Early packet (before April 1): -$10 
Late packet (after April 13): +$10 
Very Late packet (after April 20): +$20 
Minimum Fee/team: $40 
As always, we're open to any special suggestions or deals one might 
come up with, as long as they're reasonable. 

Packet guidelines are as follows: (with packet guidelines at

Rounds will be 20/20, untimed, with a full packet consisting of 22/22 
questions in the following categories: 
4/4 Lit 
4/4 Sci 
4/4 Hist 
3/3 TRASH (including 1/1 Trash questions related to the culture of 
the 'hood. Yo.) 
2/2 Art 
2/2 Rel/Myth 
1/1 Current Events 
1/1 Geography 
1/1 Other 
Theme packets are acceptable, if anyone's up to it. In regards to a 
possible mirror, we're looking into it, as long as everyone's clear 
on what's expected from each team.
