2008 NAQT SCTs: Call for Hosts

Players and Coaches --

NAQT is currently looking for hosts for its 2008 SCTs and CC SCTs.
The details for bidding for four-year Sectionals may be found on our
website:

NAQT had trouble finding hosts for its 2007 SCTs; we hope that this
was merely a statistical anomaly and that many schools will want to
host SCTs in 2008. If that's not the case, however, NAQT will review
the situation on or around October 1, 2007, and take whatever steps,
however radical, are necessary to ensure a geographically diverse set
of competent hosts. It's unlikely that schools that bid to host and
have their bids accepted will be affected by any change in the rules,
but there remains a slight possibility that an overhaul of the SCT
system would affect them. If you have concerns about this, please
don't hesitate to ask for more information about NAQT's view of the
situation.
