Re: Stuff That Needs To Be Said

"It's like those software license agreements.
Does anyone really read all that, or just hit
"accept"?"

It's slightly different than a software licensing
agreement. I should hope that people give an "all or none"
reading: namely that people read posts with enough
attention as to understand what others are saying or ignore
them completely.

Anyway, here are my two
probably unwanted cents regarding Andy's post:

1.
You do raise the question in readers of your post:
"What happened last night that was so bad?"

2.
This pent-up anger isn't just from qb itself. To use
myself as an example, I _hate_ sending E-mails and not
getting a response within due time. I consider it not
nice. As a result, I got so fed up that I let off steam
in an outburst where I shouldn't have. I apologized
for it, but it shouldn't have happened in the first
place. Many people, myself included, could have
prevented it.

3. Sometimes "CHILL OUT" isn't the
answer. Anger has to be expressed sometimes, or else it
will result in "boiling over and chaos." People were
right to be offended by some my stupid rants. We were
right to be angry at teams for switching tournaments
relatively close to their dates. People have a right to be
angry. Let them be if it's well-founded.

We do
have to calm down and stop personalizing everything,
myself included, but sometimes it's not the answer, and
on the flip side, a little rational constructive
criticism couldn't hurt, could it?
