Northeast - Basically the same thing that's happened for the past forty years happened again. Mid-Atlantic and Central - Penn State and Michigan were considered to be keys to the result. They surprised no one by doing exactly what was expected. Delaware's matches were considered the best chances of predicting the eventual winner. Heartland - Missouri-Columbia, interestingly enough, lost in a game to a team that did not, legally, exist. They decided to accept the result and not protest it. Northwest - Teams actually simply sent in their results to the TD. Results are not expected to be known for the next six months. West - The TD was quite irritated that questions were already being discussed despite the fact that the West regional had not yet finished. Southeast - Florida's final game, as expected, would decide who would win the tournament. The results of the match, however, were protested as one of Florida's dinosaurs complained that the visual tossups were designed confusingly, leading him to give two answers and thus be declared wrong. The other team pointed out that one of a Florida student was helping TD and that a six-year old could understand the visual tossup and that any idiot knew that only one answer could be accepted. Canada - No major problems, but then again, no one really cared. Both the Bush and Gore campaigns have filed suit contesting the results of all tournaments.
