The University of California, Santa Barbara Academic Bowl Club is pleased to announce the UCSB Led Bowl on Saturday January 27, 2001. This is a junior bird event mirroring UTC's 3rd annual Sword Bowl. Question submission is not required. ELIGIBILITY: The tournament is open to the following: A) Teams from colleges/universities composed entirely players in their first or second year of intercollegiate quizbowl competition. (as usual experience in CBI does not count against your eligibility.) B) Junior or Community college teams, even if they include players with two or more years' intercollegiate experience C)High school teams willing to take their chances with the above. (Multiple teams may participate from the same school and are encouraged.) FORMAT: Basic ACF style DATE & TIME: Saturday January 27, 2001 Tentatively from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. SCHEDULE: Registration will begin at 9:30 and the tournament will begin at 10:00 am SHARP! Late teams may be subject to forfeit matches. FOOD: Breakfast will be provided LOCATION: University of California Santa Barbara, building TBA.
