It's January 6th, two weeks before the
tournament, and only one packet is in, only four teams are
signed up, and no packet swap seems available. In light
of that, Beltway Bandits 5 will be moved this year
from January 21st, 2001 to Sunday, February 25th,
2001, the day after Juan Carlos Viscerra 7, also at GW.
The new deadline for packets will be February 11th,
2001 for newly-registering teams and February 4th,
2001 for previously-registered teams.
Also, it
is our intention to seek packet swaps with UIUC's
trash event and IU's academic event, or with other
interested organizations.
