Stats99 and forfeits: If the tournament rules indicate that a team that wins by forfeit wins by some score (e.g. 100-0 or whatever), then it's an easy fix: Use that score as the game score, list the game as lasting zero tossups, with zero players for either side participating in it. If the idea is that the standings get updated but the game somehow didn't actually take place... hmm... team standings are derived from the game scores. You could always hard-coding the teams' win-loss totals on the standings page, with the drawback that once you input a hard number, one would have to keep changing the number (and would probably forget to do so at some point). Author of the program apologizes for the lack of specific documentation on that point -- it's something that came up before (a long time ago) but not something thought of when written. Now that I program for a living, it's amazing all the things I did wrong (just design decisions and approach to the problem) looking back on it. :-) With one week to go before NAQT SCT, the claim continues to be that some sort of improvement will exist soon -- given the timetable it's most likely that I'll only be able to fix any bugs and make minor user-friendliness changes. :-/
