Congratulations go out to MIT Official Milling, the winners of Terrier Tussle X at Boston University this past Saturday. They (Mike, Santiago, Chris, Amy, and Josh) beat Harvard Tastes Great (Sahir Islam, Vik Vaz, David Farris) 480-275 in a double pack, no holds barred, 32 minute final match. In the end, 8 teams made it to T10, playing a round-robin in the morning. Seedings from that were as follows: 1) Harvard Tastes Great (6-1) 2) MIT Official Milling (6-1, lost to HTG) 3) Harvard Less Filling (4-3) 4) Brandeis (3-4) 5) Williams When Furbies Attack (3-4) 6) The Dartmouth Mile (3-4) 7) Hamburger U. (2-5) 8) Soylent Dartmouth (1-6) - The 3-4 teams were sorted by overall point differential due to a circle of death. - Hamburger U. was BU's own Mark Coen. Using the rankings, the playoffs were all double pack, 8-minute quarters. Went like this: #1 570, #8 145 #2 495, #7 165 #3 240, #6 125 #4 270, #5 265 #1 425, #4 170 #2 350, #3 175 #2 480, #1 275 Individually, Mike from MIT led all scorers with over 59 PPG. Mark Coen was second with around 52 PPG. Mike won a carton of rice milk, while Mark had two cans of Easy Cheese to take home for his work. MIT won two cartons of Spring Oreos for their title, while Harvard got 10 pounds of brown rice for second place. The neg king for the second straight year, Vik Vaz, won cans of octopus in garlic sauce and cuttlefish in its own ink. Slightly less disgusting than his prize from last year...
