In my own defense, I designed the D-1 playoffs so that they wouldn't come out as a single elimination system. As I read it, best 2 out of 3 means you have to lose twice before you're eliminated. As for the minimum game requirement, we had eight teams in D-1 (we were scheduled for 9, but had a drop-out that morning.) In hindsight, we could have run a double round-robin followed by a playoff with less teams involved, but I chose to run it the way I did. I'm sorry if we didn't meet a minimum game requirement, but as it worked out, having to set aside three packs for every round of playoffs you run take up quite a few packs in a hurry. NAQT did send a note out with the questions reminding teams of the requirements. The failure to meet them in the Northeast is my fault, and I apologize. On that same note, I am extremely proud of the Sectional that we ran, and invite any team who thinks that they could do a better job to bid for one of next year's events. (That's by no mean as pompous as it sounds, I swear.) Cooch
