Midnight Monday is the deadline for teams earning invitations to NAQT's ICT to respond to NAQT, or have their invitations expire and pass to waitlisted teams. A short extension of time (no more than one week) is available to a team needing the extra time to pursue funding, but only if that request comes to NAQT before midnight Monday. At this point, 1 pm CST on Sunday, here is the status of all invitations: In Division I, one invited team, Penn State, has had to decline due to personal conflicts for some team members. Their spot has been accepted by the first waitlisted team, Florida Atlantic. All other Division I teams invited have indicated that they plan to attend, except for three teams that have not yet given a response: Cambridge University (UK), the University of Washington, and UC-Berkeley B. (UC-Berkeley has accepted one spot in each division, but were not yet ready earlier in the week to give a definite answer regarding their second invitation in Division I.) These three teams are all being prompted today to remind them that a response is needed by the end of tomorrow. In Division II, 22 of 24 teams invited have accepted, and nobody has positively declined. Boston University has been given a one week extension in which to give a definite answer, as they pursue a funding channel. Georgetown is the only Division II team that has not yet responded at all, and will also be prompted today to remind them of tomorrow's deadline. ESH, for NAQT
