It depends on how you define "disability." There are
teams with players who can't use buzzers during their
Sabbath - does that count?
Jim Scott, a dyslexic,
won was a stalwart player for Virginia in the late
80's - early 90's. He was a five-day Jeopardy! Champ
and winner of the Tournament of Champions, qualifying
through "regular" Jeopardy! rather than the College
Tournament. Total winnings: $149,300.00.
And Gallaudet
has played College Bowl occasionally. But a great
many schools now send teams to the "Deaf College
Bowl," a unique competition.
