At any rate, I agree with Jon as far as journalism being a good major for writing questions, because even though the major itself is not a treasure trove of material, all the supporting liberal arts classes you have to take are just full of stuff to write about. Plus, journalism majors often have an edge when it comes to current events questions -- reading all those newspapers and watching all that TV news coverage does come in handy. Then again, the academic stuff was never my forte. But I wow my co-workers with the random entertainment-related stuff I know that most folks who play trash would hardly have to think twice about before answering.
