The truth of the matter is that this would not have been the D1 team at SCT had Matt played D2. The first reason is that some people who went to the SCT were not at the ICT for various reasons. And secondly, we are well aware of our strengths and weaknesses here. Part of the reason I was able to be on the D2 team with Matt was that I fill in knowledge that he does not have. We have always tried to set up our teams to have a good balance of knowledge so to perform well in any given match. Had Matt played D2 at the SCT, the rest of the D2 team would have looked significantly different as well. I understand that you are not happy with NAQT's rules concerning this, but please do not try to take anything away from the hard work all of my teammates did on both D1 and D2. I am very proud of both our (D2) and their (D1) perfomances because of the limited roster (we have a lot of smart people whose knowledge overlaps) we were able to pull from because of school obligations this late in the year (read: tests) I truly believe that we deserved both a D1 and D2 presence, and you don't have to worry about next year, as Matt has lost his D2 eligibilty.
