In clarification to an earlier post of Shaun's,
Penn State won the 2000 NAQT SCT at UVa. (The
aforementioned Nam/Hamilton/Tervakoski team finished second.) I
don't think the Mid-Atlantic is as dire as some make it
out to be, though I will agree it has declined since
the previous season.
