<<P.S. - Romance of the Three Kingdoms (SPOILER) gets pathetically easy after a while. The computer is way too scared to attack, and will never leave the rice unguarded. Meanwhile, when you attack it, it sits in the cities and tries to burn you even when you're obviously inflammable for the month. Because it won't divide units to occupy castles and usually goes after your army anyway, you can defend simply by running aimlessly around.>> On the PC: I've had the computer divide units before. I've also had (when I am attacking) the computer army try to attack my army out in the field even when I am vastly outnumbered. I notice the games are different for the PC and the NES ... the coolest thing about the PC version is you have the ability to build new castles up to a pre-set maximum for each state (7-10). In Genghis Khan 1, all you have to do to win is have one unit and have it be archers. If the defending army has other cavalry units attack them first before they join up with the headquarters unit (unit 0) in the castle, where they will be harder to dislodge. If your abilities are below 200 all-around, refuse duels. The computer is also very stupid when it formulates an attack strategy, for example they will have 200 soldiers in a country, and then attack with 150 of them. You can then waltz in and defeat the 50 that remain. Nobunaga's Ambition is like that too, but weathering an attack in that game is a lot more difficult. Shawn Pickrell
