Doug is one of the real gentlemen of quiz bowl. I
am thrilled for him. I applaud him and the DC team
for their wonderful success at the
Panasonic.
I hope that this competition will not go unnoticed
at Banneker. Doug is a magnificent role model and
person. It is always a pleasure to play against Banneker
(win or lose) because I get to renew a very old and
dear acquaintance. Keep up the good work!!
