Quiz camp doubles tourney

Here are the results from the DUCKS QB camp
doubles tourney. The tema of Alexander Cueto (St. Charles
Prep, Columbus, OH) and Jillian Hill (Oblong High,
Oblong, IL) finished just ahead of a team of Paul
Gauthier (Wheaton North High, Wheaton, IL) and Karen
Mullins (formerly of Benton Consolidated High, Benton,
IL) to take a hotly contested title. Tomorrow's
triples tourney figures to be just as close.


Also, due to a lack of buzzer systems, both myself and
Sarah Mordan-McCombs were forced to read each of 11
rounds 3 times (33 readings per person) over the course
of some 7 hours of competition. My suggestion -- get
more relaible people to supply buzzers next
year...
