Better late than never. The Univ. of Oklahoma is proud to announce the dates, etc., for this year's Route 66 Tournament, which will be held on OCT. 6 in the usual location (Physical Science Building). We are mirroring the EBOWLA Tourney, which means this a NO packet submission tourney. We are also following the price scheme for that tourney, with one exception. Here it is: $80 First team $70 Additional teams -$10 Buzzer systems -$10 Moderator/Staff -$10 teams travelling at least 500 miles -$10 schools that have either not played at Route 66 before, or have not played within the last three years $50 Minimum fee per team Packets will follow normal ACF rules, and should be a version of ACF-lite, making this a great opportunity for younger teams to compete. For more rules, reservations, directions, etc., please contact me, David Murphy, at blasmo_at_.... Hopefully, I'll see you all there, however, since this tourney always falls on OU-Texas weekend, and I haven't watched the game in six years, and this one should be pretty good, I might not. Check Mr. Bill's for the long-haired guy screaming for blood -- and more beer. I would like to personally thank Eric S. for his help in this. We owe him several. David Murphy, (yes) Faculty Sponsor, Univ. of Oklahoma Academic Team
