Announcement 2: Terrapin on Oct 26-27

This is the second announcement for the Terrapin
Invitational Tournament to be held October 26-27, 2001 at the
University of Maryland. Today is the last day to get in your
packets for the $30 discount, so I strongly reccomend
that if you have one ready, send it
in.

The field shall be divided into Division I and
Division II. Division II shall be composed of first and
second year players who opt to play in that field, while
Division I will be composed of all others.

All
teams in Division I will be required to submit a
packet. Division II is not required to submit a packet,
and each division will compete on different question
sets.

The fees are as follows:
Div I:
First Team:
$100
Each additional team: $75
Early Packet deadline
9/7/2001: -$30
Next deadline 9/21/2001: -$15
No
penalty deadline 10/5/2001
Packet received between
10/6 and 10/12: +$5 per day
Packet received between
10/13 and 10/19: +10 per day
No packet by 10/20:
Tournament director's discretion to allow the team to
play

Travelling more than 500 miles:

First appearance at the TIT: -$15
More than two
years since you last attended the TIT:

As for Division II, the best way to describe the
question difficulty would be "hard high
school".
