(Apologies to those who will receive this multiple times.) >From President Bush's most recent comments, it seems that the United States will be going to war against the terrorists within a matter of days. He has asked that Americans go to a house of worship during their lunch hour tomorrow in order to pray. Please do this if you can. Pray for the victims in the United States. Pray for the American children whose lives and innocence has been forever shattered. Pray for any victims who are still alive and hoping to be rescued. Pray for the countries who are bravely standing by us; particularly our NATO allies, who could end up risking their lives for us. Pray for our military and their families; this country has suffered enough loss of life. Pray that our leaders will make good decisions. Pray that this doesn't turn out to be just the beginning of a long, bloody conflict -- that is, pray that our actions don't cause an escalation. And finally, pray for the innocent civilians on the other side of this who will suffer. The average Afghan citizen didn't ask for the Taliban to take over, much less for them to harbor Osama bin Laden, but they will suffer as well. Pray for peace. Kristin Hamlin
