I shouldn't get involved and should just let this fire burn out but being someone who is actually IN the chatroom on a regular basis, I felt it was probably my duty to help to correct a little notion that seems to be prevalent in the qb community. Now, I've been coming in there pretty regularly since April, as has Matt. And in that time, I can probably count on one hand the amount of times Matt has gotten involved in the topic of religion, still fewer the times he's brought it up (a specific example I do not recall). And throughout the discourse Matt never committed any transgression of civilized conversation; it was always a conversation that was very intelligent. Yet, Kristin has seldom in the last 5 months been in the chatroom to notice this. So anyone reading this attack on Mr. Weiner's character should take her comments with a grain of salt at best: They are not made with the best information. So my question is this: Did Matt suddenly tone his act down shortly before I joined? I don't find that to be very likely. I do think that this negative attitude of Matt is spreading simply because people are listening too much to rumor or people's bad impressions (and honestly I had a bad first impression of Matt too, but then I actually talked with him a bit), and not having actual conversations with Matt. And for the record not everyone is getting fed up with that messenger: SPEAK FOR YOURSELF AND ONLY THAT PERSON.
