This is the third announcement for the Terrapin
Invitational Tournament to be held October 27, 2001 at the
University of Maryland, College Park.

Due to a
smaller than anticipated field, the Maryland Academic
Quiz Team has decided to change some of the
requirements, as well as the final packet deadline.


There will only be one division for teams, and all
teams are required to submit a packet. Because of this,
the final packet deadline will be Friday, October 12,
2001. The rest of this message is a modified repost of
past announcements.

First Team: $100
Each
additional team: $75
Early Packet deadline 9/7/2001:
-$30
Next deadline 9/21/2001: -$15
No penalty deadline
10/12/2001
Packet received between 10/13 and 10/19: +10 per
day
No packet by 10/20: Tournament director's discretion
to allow the team to play
Experienced Moderator:
-$10
Buzzer: -$10
Travelling more than 500 miles:
-$15
First appearance at the TIT: -$15
More than two
years since you last attended the TIT:
-$10
