This will be the third time I've tried to post these in as many days. I have no idea what the trouble's been. I blame AOL, but then again, I blame them for everything. Our tourney was a mirror of the EBOWLA tournament, with all questions written by Eric Steinhauser. Most people, including myself, were very impressed by the breadth and depth of the questions, and we cannot thank him enough for all the hard work. We owe him beer -- and money. Without further ado... Teams were broken into Div I and Div II brackets, with teams playing full round-robins within those brackets. Standings led to single-elimination competition. In Div I, Texas A&M (Mescaline) went on to beat UMKC, while in Div II, Texas A&M (O-Doul's) beat Texas Tech. Plaques for them, and the rest are numbers: Team Wins Losses A&M 7 0 E&J 6 1 UMKC 5 2 OU-A 4 3 Arkansas3 4 UT-Orange2 5 WSU 1 6 UT-White0 7 Team Wins Losses Texas Tech6 1 O'Douls 6 1 Missouri6 1 OU-B 3 4 A&M-C 3 4 OBU 2 5 Arkansas B1 6 WSU B 1 6 I have been unable to post individual stats for some reason, or total points, or avg. PPG. The Yahoo server keeps bumping me off for some reason. If anyone is interested in individual stats, please e-mail me, and I can provide them for you. In Div I. Mike from UMKC (yes, he's a Wehrman) was first, with Eric from the E&J Exhibition team second. In Div II. Trey Morris from Texas Tech (nice to see them on the circuit) was first, with Scott from O-Doul's next. I hope everyone enjoyed the tourney, and even though I wound up having to read two rooms in a row, it still seemed to go off pretty well. See everyone in November for the ACF Fall Tourney. If you are interested and haven't already contacted me, please do so as soon as possible. We now have a gameday conflict and will have to work with you to make things work out smoothly.
