I have created a new yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/qbtrade for the purposes of facilitating trade of invitational quizbowl questions. This group will make available to all members (in the files section) all questions posted by members of the group. The restrictions: 1. To be a member, you must have questions to share with the group. These questions must belong to you and must be substantial (e.g. a tournament that your school hosted, or 10 tournament rounds that your team has submitted to invitationals in the past year, or 20 practice sets). 2. The questions must be new or rare. That is, they cannot already be available on the Stanford archive. 3. Schools that have posted recent questions on the Stanford archive (or other archive) will get special dispensation for being good citizens. 4. After a period of about 2 years, all questions submitted will be placed in public domain. 5. Your membership will be pending until I see the questions to be posted. 6. Anyone else who wishes to take on this endeavor, contact me. 7. Questions will be stored in stuffit (.sit) or zip (.zip) format to save space. Please save the files as .txt, .html, or .rtf . Please exclude images and soundfiles from the files. 8. When the disk storage space allotted to the group is filled, a new group will be started with identical rules, requiring another set of submissions to join. -- David Levinson
