Hi everyone. In the original announcement of the
UL-Lafayette Invitational, I had stated that third year
players would be eligible for this tournament. As it
turns out, the average Juniorbird tournament does not
allow third year players. We are not merely conforming
to a certain tournament characteristic, but we would
like to have the tournament field limited to
inexperienced players to avoid conflicts with competition
levels. So therefore, the following change must be made
to our eligibility requirements:
ELIGIBILITY:
All quiz bowl players in their first or second years
of competition are eligible. Teams may only have one
graduate student per team.
If you plan to attend
our tournament and would like to request an exception
to these rules, you may do so. Sorry for any
inconvenience we may have caused. Thanks.
