What is the purpose of a "lie" ? 
A poorly
constructed one can lead to a hose. They were not intended
to. You can check the questions marked with a "**" to
see if there were any, none we recognized.

The
purpose is to test your lateral thinking, your ability to
go beyond simple rote memorization, but to see if
the gestalt /pattern can help you. The clues may or
may not help you immediately, but may help in concert
with later clues. I suppose the snow covered north
leads to some bizarre thoughts so we don't have the
same sense of absolute truth that Berkeley does.
