One should still have a year or two of experience to trying write questions with the answers "pain", "money", "life", "death", "Shakespeare", "clothing", "history", "fire", "The Stonecutters", "Okonkwo", "Gatsby", "or "They All Died In A Plane Crash". My favorite question I answered was the Tipper Gore one at NAQT Nationals, because my buzz was after some vaguest-clue-ever like "may have influenced this person's interest in music and sports", and two of my teammates instantly thought I had buzzed accidentally, but in fact it was a belated reaction to "played drums in a band called the Wildcats". Least favorite question: here's a paraphrase: "Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, bothered by his country's unpatriotic men, suggested on (date) that wives who supported him should withdraw sexual contact from their husbands unless they (do something or other). This announcement, which was unsuccessful, came as a surprise to all who witnessed it, unless they had noticed that under the general's arm was a copy of a certain Greek play.
