At the moment, we have _sixty_ teams registered for Penn Bowl 11, with as many as four additional teams on standby. Therefore, the format will be similar to last year, with four brackets of 15 teams each, and the top four teams in each bracket advancing to playoffs. If we have enough playoff questions (this is still up in the air), we will have a total of six playoff rounds. At a minimum, though, there will be four rounds of single-elim playoffs. [Consolation matches will be arranged for teams eliminated from contention, if they so desire.] Please note that there are two teams containing students from more than one school: Texas A&M III, and Delaware II. These teams are _not_ eligible for the title, but matches against them _will_ count towards determining final standings. I am still awaiting rosters from the following teams: Bryn Mawr, Emory, Georgetown, North Carolina, Rochester, Swarthmore, and Vanderbilt. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at <samer_at_...> or <pennbowl_at_...> as soon as possible. --STI [Please note: I am leaving at 4 PM today for New Haven, to moderate at BHSAT11. I will have e-mail access over the weekend.]
