Indeed, the tournament was run very well and
thanks to everyone up at U-M: you all did a great job
with the tournament (especially finishing almost on
time).
I did, however, notice that a major
portion of the questions focused specifically on ancient
history and movies, two areas which should get exposure,
but perhaps not as much as they were given. Of
course, packet-submission tournaments will always be
somewhat swayed, but I found this case to be especially
noticeable. Granted, I probably wouldn't be mentioning this
if I weren't a horrible ancient history/movies
player, but it's something I noticed.
Thanks for
putting the tournament on, guys. I had a blast,
especially losing to our A team on the last question in
overtime.
