Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to study for College Bowl, it just requires effort that could be better put to other things were you the type to actually study. At this point, several people have said that they have enjoyed College Bowl. Matt, I know that you are aware of at least some of them. Some people actually enjoy speed questions for their own sake and like "trivia" in addition to, not necessarily opposed to, "academia." People can get enjoyment out of multiple choice questions. See NTN. Although some of that enjoyment probably has to do with having a beer in hand at the time....hey. there's an idea for improving College Bowl. I think we need to be open to the idea that some people just have different tastes and do this for different reasons than you or I do. Not everyone will like ACF. Not everyone will like NAQT. Some will like both, some will like neither. Anthony, who tends to be forgiving of a wide range of tastes, but not of people who like Britney Spears
