SOB Singles Northeast Mirror

Thanks to Paul Litvak et al. the Northeast region
played singles well into the night. Results as follows:


Because many people wanted to go back home early, there
were only 8 participants. 3 rounds of 40 TUs were
played as prelims. For the first round, people were
divided into rooms alphabetically, then seeded based on
performance. For the second round, the 1,4,5,8 seeds were in
one room, the 2,3,6,7 seeds in the other room. After
reseeding, 1,2,3,4 were put in one room, 5,6,7,8 were put in
the other. 3 buzzes per tossup, 100 points to get
out. After 3 prelims:

Then a double-elim playoff was played. The seeds held
up in the end, and Vik and Jason faced off in the
finals, with Vik needing one win for the victory. Vik
defeats Jason 95-30 to win the SOB Singles mirror.
