An old adage: Better late than never. In the course of planning and preparing for a tournament, there are those who are have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Paul Hohler, Kausik Umanath, Joel Gluskin, and Cheryl Barkauskas are four members of our team that have gone above and beyond what could be expected. Without their critical leadership and sacrifices of time and effort, we would have not been able to run the tournament with any semblance of organization. Three schools in particular have also gone above what can be normally expected: Truman State and Grinnell brought critical assistance in seven additional staff members, while Wisconsin brought a multitude of clocks. Without this help, running this tournament would have been much more difficult. Thanks are also in order for our readers and scorekeepers: Marc Einstein, Jonathan Frick, Cheryl Barkauskas, David Kanon, Jay Turetsky, Joe Meisner, Mike Schneider, Mike Devine, Lori Currier, Aashoo Tandon, Jonathan Frick, Jamie Doenges, Ken Mitchell, Steve Frappier, Hiram Satterwhite, Bryan Hudak, Jenny, Lance Finney, Mike Tolles, and Roman Garnett, as well as NAQT representatives R. Robert Hentzel, Eric Hillemann, and Emily Pike. I would like to apologize to all of the teams for the excessive delays at the beginning of the tournament, including the mess with the schedules, equipment, and the change in the assembly room. I certainly hope that we can provide a better experience in the future that allows folks to get back home earlier in the evening. Many thanks for those who attended, and I hope you had a wonderful experience. Jason Paik Washington University Academic Team
