Six teams attended the Omar Bongo Academic Tournament at Pitt today. Reams of stats are done and will go up soon, but for now, the final standings saw Jeff Kent's Bikini Car Wash (Carey Clevenger/Anthony de Jesus/Eric Steinhauser) defeat Clay Henry's Drinking Buddies (Dwight Kidder/Doug O'Neal/Bill Tressler) in a nip-and-tuck three-game final series which went almost all the way to the last question of the deciding game. George Washington + GW alum finished third, Kentucky A fourth, Kentucky B fifth, and Carnegie Mellon sixth. Kelly McKenzie from Kentucky was the high individual scorer at 72 ppg, while the neg prize went to Anthony de Jesus, who equalled Kelly's neg total with 18 but won out on quality ("assasinations" for "breeder reactors.") We'd like to thank everyone for coming and remind the forum that we plan to host another tournament, whether it be written by us again or packet submission, in the fall semester. If I owe you the questions (you know who you are), email me at darwins_bullog _at_ yahoo.com so I know what address to send them to and you'll have them soon. If I don't owe you the questions and you want them, they are $25. We will consider trades for other sets in lieu of money. --M.W.
